Rare Rockin’ Records is proud to present Street Corner Style by The Earth Angels, a trio of very talented singers from Barcelona, Spain. The voices of these three young men blend together to form the group’s own unique sound, as they recreate the Doo Wop and Vocal Group Harmony styles of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. With this debut CD release, The Earth Angels embark on a glorious Doo Wop revival by remaking very obscure songs which were initially recorded between 1958 and 1964, as well performing two of their own original compositions. If you love classic Doo Wop and the sound of groups like The Crests, The Five Satins, Dion & The Belmonts, The Miracles, The Earls, and Little Anthony & The Imperials, then this CD is for you! There is a great mix of uptempo songs and ballads, plus, it is packaged with a fantastic 32 page booklet that contains cool photos, information about the group’s members, biographies and all song lyrics. This group is the real deal--they truly bring back the sound of doo wop and vocal group harmony, street corner style!
